Assassin's Creed Syndicate is set in 1868 London during the Industrial Revolution. Twins Jacob and Evie Frye build the Rooks street gang to wrest control of the city from Templar industrialists. A rope launcher makes vertical traversal fast, and the game adds carriage combat, faction takeovers and a lighter, wittier tone.
